Family portrait photos are beautiful. However, if like me you feel awkward posing in front of the camera, but still want beautiful photos of your family, then documentary family photography is perfect for you.

Day in The Life sessions are great for capturing the real you. From breakfast to bedtime and all the fun and chaos in-between. A session with me is enjoyable, relaxed and completely unique to you and your family. You don’t even have to tidy your house before I arrive! We can hang out for the day and do all the things you enjoy the most. And some of the things you don’t. I am here to capture all the moments in your life, to create your story. No posing and nothing staged.

And if you’re not quite ready for a full day of me in your home (promise I don’t bite), then we can start off with a Slice of Life (4-5 hour) or a Snippet of Life (1.5-2 hour). Sessions that are either in your home or in your favourite place to be.

Drop me an email to ask any questions or to request a call. We can chat about everything and anything to do with you, your family and the session. Let’s pencil a date in the diary and then sit back and look forward to the big day.

Consultation

A week before the session I’ll give you a call to finalise all details and answer any last-minute questions. We can do this on the phone, or over Zoom. It’s amazing how a couple of minutes saying “hi” face to face can help with confidence levels on the day.

The Shoot

That’s it, the day has arrived and I’m here to hang out and capture your story. Carry on making the breakfast or go back to bed and let the kids make their own! I’m here for the day so there’s no need to rush. All you need to do is be you, and I’ll capture all the good bits.

Your Story

A few weeks after the shoot we’ll arrange an in-home appointment for me to pop over and show you your beautiful images. I’ll pick the best of the best for you to see and I can guide you through the options, including beautiful wall art and stunning heirloom albums.
